We welcome you to two evenings with Finnish percussionist and artist extraordinaire, Tatu Rönkkö; known for his unique, unpredictable approach to music, as well as his various collaborations with Efterklang, Nils Frahm, and more. Tatu already released a record on Sonic Pieces 8 years ago called Spheres, which we´d say is highly underrated. Now, Tatu is back and he has a new album coming on Sonic Pieces early next year, which is an utterly mesmerizing electro-acoustic / ambient / music concrete record with the catchy title of Kuulen virtauksen kaikkialla (I hear the drift everywhere). We´re not sure what to expect of his performance this time, but we´re certain it will be very special.

Tatu will also be part of the upcoming People festival at the Funkhaus, organized by Michelberger Hotel.
