Our third in-store performance comes from Simon Scott, a British composer, mastering engineer and sound artist from The Fens in Cambridgeshire, England. Simon released two of his earliest records on Miasmah as well as a 7inch on Sonic Pieces. The last decade has seen his work explore creative methodologies of field recording, the process of active listening, the implications of recording the natural world using technology and the manipulation of natural sounds used for musical composition. His recent works has been released on labels such as Touch, 12K and Room40. We´re offering a unique opportunity to see Simon in such an intimate setting.
